Unsafe peloton on La Tuna Canyon

To the a-hole peloton who buzzed me on both sides on La Tuna Canyon around 11:30 this morning, that's a great way to cause a massive accident. Pass on the left next time. When the first guys came up on my left, I started to move to the right to give you room, and almost took out half of you. You guys should know better.

Happy Thanksgiving, and ride safe.

Amen, brother. That is really a stupid move. sounds to me like some inexperienced riders. I see similar antics on PCH in So Cal. Lots of people taking up the sport and not getting well oriented to group riding. Having said that, it is always best not to move over at all. It is the responsibility of the overtaking group to provide clearance. Still, no one should be passing on the right.

Yeah, I agree, and in truth I barely budged because I knew it was a risk. It was just a reflex to want to move because the guys on my left were so dang close, although that part didn't bother me. It was the simultaneous gutterballing on the right, and then their utter obliviousness when we caught up at the stoplight that got me.
