Good bikefitters in Socal?

Can anyone recommend me some good bike fitters? Need a couple things tweaked and would like it done professionally.

HB is a little far from me but I might check them out. I was also considering Josh Horowitz from Pezcyclingnews. His company (Liquid Fitness) is closer to me but I'm don't think he uses all the fancy gizmos and cost more. Thanks Tiffanie!

Several shop owners do decent fittings... try Robert Kahler at Santiago Cyclery (Tustin) or Jim at Sand Canyon Cycles (Irvine).

I've been fitted several times and my favorite fitting, the one I still use, was done by Mark who used to work at Two Wheeler Dealer in Brea. If you give them a call they might have his number. He will travel to your place.

If you are willing to pay some cash for a truly professional fitting, try John Howard in San Diego. Howard, a world class cyclist, does fittings at his facility. See johnhowardsports.com.

Sundance is a great place to get fit on a bike, they fitted me a couple of years ago. I think any shop that has been educated in the Serotta Fitting system for the the Serotta's have a much better understanding of the whole fit process and what is right for each individual rider.

FWIW, I just came back from Surf City Cyclery (again!) and found that they do professional fittings. Something about "Body Geometry Fit Certification" and Andy Pruitt. (?)

I know you said this area's far, just wanted to put it out there...

I went to visit those guys yesterday for a fitting with Damon. The session lasted about 90 minutes, I was very impressed with his knowledge and the technology he used as my previous bike fitting was very 'old school'. Damon extended my seat tube by about 10mm and moved my cleats back. I rode this morning with the new setup and it seemed better, but I suppose I need to give it a few weeks before making a final judgement.

The experience was overall very pleasant and informative, I will go back for a follow-up session which is included in the price.

I was helped by Randy Ice, who founded S.C.O.R. and the Solvang Century. Do not know where he is now.
Brea perhaps?
