you and hubby need to come to JT on the 11th! it's doable in a day drive/ride/drive home! (we do it quite often!)

Wife doesn't want to go to Solvang, saying there's not enough for her to do. Should I just go without her? I noticed today's the last day to sign up online and most hotels are booked.

Today is the last day to sign up, huh? Hmmm...is everyone else dropping out? If so, I'm going to do Isits ride that day instead (and head south for a change... ).

Does she like to hike? Not that I recommend hiking alone, but Nojoqui Falls is near there...very short walk/hike, but very pretty and then there's the hike up to Gaviota Hot Springs. Great hike and even better...soaking for hours in the natural hot springs. Just beware of naked bathers.

She loves to hike. Do they allow dogs in those areas? Because our dog loves to hike too and he makes a great partner when I can't join her. Naked bathers in the springs, huh? That's almost as tempting as being surrounded by all you ladies in tight lycra! I'll see if she'll go for that. Otherwise, I might save on the hotel cost and drive up at 5am. Who else is in?

Nojoqui Falls allows dogs...it's more of a walk than a hike, really short but it's really pretty!

I couldn't find any info on the Gaviota Hot Springs hike regarding dogs. I did find this other hike we've wanted to do though...Gaviota Wind Caves and looks like dogs are allowed!

Nah, if you guys are all riding, I'm still coming. I just didn't want to show up and ride solo on this one. Solvang with the buffalo, fields and wine is meant to be shared!
