James,
Fresh meat, here, jumping in late in the game. But I just joined the board, and the jerseys are awesome. I don't know where the voting is, but I like #2, and will take one of whatever the group decides. Thanks for your efforts!

Funny thing about that paint...When Top Gun was filmed at (then) NAS Miramar, the F-5 Fighters were painted that black and red scheme to simulate the non-existant Mig 28. After days of filming over the Southwest deserts, the black paint was practically burned into the aluminum skin, effectively staining the fuselage wherever black was applied (ie: not the red star).

After filming, the jets were repainted their Agressor Squadron colors (various camoflages and paint schemes of the enemies of the day). But the outline of Red Star would always be faintly visible. No amount of primer or paint would hide it.

Probably still there today.

The Red Star lives forever.

I didn't go through each page, so may have missed it: how/when can we place an order?

What's funny too is that the true Soviet MiGs weren't black! But don't tell people here that... we gotta preserve the mystique... and it seems to ruffel some feathers.

True...true. It's probably the stupidest move to fly a black jet in the daytime. Nice disguise, moran.

What is the difference between Race and Club cut jerseys?
I looked at the Champion site, and I see the sizing is different, but no real explanation..
thanks

The vast majority of us will buy whatever you pick because it will give us another way to feel part of this fun group.

Just my 2 cents.

Smooth Move Cleave!

You gave control to the one guy that voted for the one choice, that had one vote.

Be careful where you put the red. Anyone one know how, err, um discreet grey is on bike shorts?

Not discreet enough! Only black will do in the "crucial places"--unless of course we want to offer a special model for the guys who want to. . .advertise?

Modest in Pasadena,
