I plan to race them this weekend. They have different hubs than the current model and I understand from the seller they may have been rebuilt with different spokes as well, so I don't know how representative of the current ones they will be.

Etxe Ondo bibshorts. Campagnolo arm warmers and leg warmers (my old ones were getting a but frayed)

FYI: Sierra Trading Post recently added a bunch of cycling gear, incl. Exte Ondo and Campagnolo. Good stuff and lots of cold-weather gear!

You're not gonna want to take them off after the race Every time I put mine on for the races, I have a hard time parting with them until the next race. BTW, if you haven't already picked up some pads, I highly suggest the yellow Swiss Stops.

Just got myself a set of 303 clinchers

Hehe, you are right about that. I rode with them this morning on my usual morning ride/commute and shattered my previous PR by minutes. Went at lunch to ride the crit course and pulled out a few 26mph laps and even many of the "easy" laps were over 20. And they look good on the bike (btw, those are swissstop yellow pads that I got with my new zero gravity set:

Excellent, I suspect beating a PR by minutes was more placebo than wheel performance, but nonetheless, I know what you mean. They just feel good, sound good and look good. They go nicely on the TCR. I'm looking forward to taking mine out of the wheel bag for the time in months for Blvd this Sat.

BTW- Don't make the same mistake I did. The first time I raced mine were at the El Dorado crit, I inflated to ~140psi, and I was skipping all over the place in the corners. Just because they'll hold 160+, doesn't mean you should. I'd keep them around 120.

I'm pretty sure it was mostly wheel performance. I do that route a lot and the times are always clustered around pretty tightly. The ride is pretty much split in two, with a hilly/rolling backroads section, a fast longish descent, then mostly flat city roads. I was pretty much on par for time on the first section, but once I hit the flat section I was able to easily hold speeds several mph faster than usual. Much faster to accelerate from a light and much easier to keep the speed up. And this was all with a lower average/max hr (155/180 vs. 159/182). Total time was 1:09 for 22 miles, about 1400ft elevation, vs 1:12 previously. And that was compared to a PR... usually its closer to 1:16...

Pumped them to 120... thats what I ran in my other tires.

Great deal on Steep and Cheap right now!

Castelli Nano Glove
$15.75

61% Off, Regularly $39.95

Lightweight winter glove. All sizes still available as of 4:05pm.

Castelli engineered the Nano Gloves to compete with the best lightweight winter gloves on the market. Stretch Stratosheer Light fabric and Thermoflex material make the Nanos great emergency or cool weather/descending gloves—the Stratosheer stretches and provides a windproof barrier; the Thermoflex provides warmth and gives you outstanding grip on wet bars with a silicone palm. Castelli also added silicone to the inside and outside of the Nano's wrist to keep the glove up and your jersey sleeve down. Note: these gloves fit a bit snug, so if you're between sizes, size up.

Thanks, Joy! Too bad I can't lump different S&C purchases though. ~$8 per shipment can get expensive.

Also, as I mentioned in the What's Up thread, I finally got a bike fitting, yeah! Not a product purchase, but still cycling related.
