Ooh. I'll try that when I get it. It's a portable stand, just enough to get the rear wheel off the ground. And only $15 at Nashbar, thus Performance after price match.

My most recent purchase would have to be my Trek Madone 5.9 Sl. , Bontrager XXX Lite Cages, only 17 grams, and a set of bontrager race x lite aero carbon tubular wheels ( on order, then to compliment those will be another dura ace cassette and x-lite pro tubular tires for them.) Those are my racing wheels for next year. I just had to get them, and same with the cages, oh and same with the bike. :-) Working in a shop is and is also not good for the bank account. :-/

Very nice! 17 gram bottle cages, huh? How well do they hold the bottles?

Yeah like yesterday i had a impulse buy on those cages. Saw them online the night before and was telling myself "those are sweet, i'd like to get a pair, but their not worth $XX and especially having to special order them." What happens, they show up in our regular order.... So i had to buy them...

Edit: they actually hold regualr bottles very nicely, like the trek disco bottles that i use that happen to perfectly match my bike....

Hmm... I have Pro Lite carbon cages now. I think they're something like 28-30 grams each. Hmm... that's like 0.05 pounds right there! Every little bit adds up, right?

I bought skates today. They're cycling related in that...once I fall and break something while wearing them...I won't be cycling much.
