Nytro (you can barely make it out on the bottle cages). Xlab Flatwing. Very popular with the triathlon enthusiasts, but I just wanted it for a place to carry 2 additonal bottles since I don't own a Camelback. Can't use the Profile carrier on my bike since I don't have a round seatpost to mount it on

I noticed this at Nashbar and might give a pair of them a shot. They mount right to the seat rail, and look like they'd leave enough room to still use a wedge pack under the seat, unlike the Profile one. I'm just unsure of the clamping force provided by one bolt on the seat rail.

LBS had its semi-annual sale this weekend. Picked up several things at 25% off. Got a NiteRider Minewt light and a tail light. Longfinger gloves for the winter. Lots of tubes & CO2 cartridges. A better floor pump. I was thinking about picking up a set of Topolino wheels @ 25% off, but I still haven't met my weight loss goal for buying those wheels. I guess I'll have to weight for the next sale.

After freezing my berries off Sunday (35 deg as I left the house), I just spent $150 on Idon'tknowwhat at REI. An UnderArmor warmth mock turtleneck undershirt $50, Pearl Izumi Gel Lite long fingered gloves $35, Pearl Izumi Calientoes $15, HeadSweats headwarmer with ear covers $20, SPD-SL replacement cleats $20.

...all things I could have probably gotten at Performance or the Swap Meet this weekend for 1/2 that.

to impulse buys

How about a pedal wrench and MTB shoes!
But if you miniaturize it, it could pass as a spoke wrench...

Actually, the real reason to ride nekkid is to avoid excess laundry. One might also think it helps avoid tan lines, but cycling really is not a good way to go out and get your tan. You aren't uniformly exposed to the sun, so you'll get an uneven tan on the bike.
