I'm not crazy. I'm here to shoot the breeze mostly about cycling advice, rides, etc. It's a fun respite from the rest of my responsiblities I have (like right now, I have to get off this and do my chores!). It's also a way to build community with fellow riders. And, honestly, I like a little off-the-wall banter as well. We are, after all, humans and judging from the posts, some pretty humorous ones at that. You've been a little prankster yourself, mister, so stop being the "Pot" calling us "Kettles" black (or crazy).

What does the "red star" mean?. I have seen several forum members having them but yet have no clue how or why they have them.

I see you've asked this same question over at other regional forums and didn't get a response. You need to ride 10,000 miles within a 12 month period to earn that red star. .....or an easier way is to just donate $25 or more to Bike Forums and you'll get the star.

Most of us opt for the latter method... :)
