His mt bike SS ha rides 34X17. I stand a better chance of keeping up with Andy when he rides with gears. He can climb like a billy goat, and he decends like a rocket when he has a freewheel. He pretty much just rides SS and fixie 95% of the time. We call him Crazy Andy. He is also my main ride partner. He has $100 into his fixie, an old 70's steel frame that he converted. It weighs about 26 lbs.
