I got carbon fiber-ish bar tape

I bought it on ebay. I liked how it looked. It came with the end plugs and finishing tape and 2 rolls. Hey, I'm happy. They look like carbon fiber.

BTW this seller has a carpload of bike stuff for low prices. Check it out...

Looks nice. I hope you're happier with it than I am with my new bar tape. It's been on my bike about 12 hours now, and I'm already thinking about replacing it.

$12.34 was the total with shipping. Why?

It's on sale at Performance for $8 or so. $4 extra is no biggie, but hey, that's like 8 candybars right there.

What about Deda? Fixer has me thinking about white vinyl tape from Deda.

Not if it's vinyl, so that you can just wash it off. Or if you get something nice and cheap so that you can afford to replace it before any big ride where you want to look cool.

Max, I asked the same question, but Fixer seems okay with his vinyl tape. I think as far as the feel of the tape goes, I'd prefer something not in vinyl, but the vinyl probably would be more shiny. Tough decision.

By the way, for the record, looks usually don't matter too much to me. But for some reason, I'm really fixated with getting bar tape that's white as snow.
