road rash/tegaderm

I crashed last night (not the bike, on skates) and got the worst road rash I've ever had. I hit a hole while sidesurfing at 30 down Bicknell in santa monica, and landed pretty much on my left forearm.

Anyone know where to buy the 6x8 or 8x10 tegaderm patches locally? I used six of the 3 1/4 inch patches on my left arm, and two on my right. Still doesn't fully cover it.

Won't keep me off the bike today though. There are hills that need climbing.

I know CVS has them, and I'm pretty sure I got it at Rite Aid recently.

WOW, no advise here but I crashed on my blades earlier this year and got a ton of road rash on my thigh/hip area.... ouch!!!!! (of course, I also broke my arm, so you were lucky!).

by the way, I ditched the tegaderm after the fist day and used a non stick pad with neosporin for the next week. Worked fine.

a skater friend gave me 8 sheets of the 4 x 4 1/2 sheets. I can cover my left forearm with two of these instead of six of the 3 x 3 1/4 sheets. That was a nasty crash. worst part is my knuckles. ground them down several layers deep, and they don't make knuckle bandages.

didn't keep me off mandeville canyon yesterday though.

I found 2 sizes of tegaderm (larger than the 4x4 3/4 found anywhere) at my local CVS in oceanside. I think the largest with a pad is 6x8". The other is like 5x7". Not even the medical supply houses near my house stocked it. I was quite surprised!
