Need help with rides in San Diego

Hello

We just picked up a condo in Ocean Beach and I am looking for help with places and groups to ride with:

1)Can anyone suggest some good group road rides in the San Diego area?
2)Wherre are some of the best area's to mountain bike?
3) Any good bike shops in the OB area?

Thanks for any help!

B&L Bikes just opened right at Rosecrans and the I-8/I-5 interchange. They're strictly Specialized only right now, but will start expanding their lines as stock comes in.

If you take Sunset Cliffs north, there's a good loop that goes around Mission Bay, which is a good launch pad for Mt. Soledad and points North and East.

Actual 'Road Cycling' in OB is tough because of all the intersections. Hard to get any sort of rhythm going.

+ 1 on the SDBC (San Diego Bike Clucb). We have a open Saturday ride for different levels.

The ride leaves every Saturday at 8:30 for the UC Cyclery Bike Shop.

Lately we have been running four different rides (A, B, C++, C) with about 200 riderrs total. Read this page on what to expect:
