Saturday SART Ride Report and Pic Thread

Feel free to add any pix you may have! Met Tim at the lot, headed out to the beach. Was breezy but Gina pushed the pace most of the way to the beach. Ran into few friends, introduced Tim to the crowd, then headed back. Got a lil breezy on the way back, but ended up with a pretty good ride. Got a few pix, so thought I'd post them. Tim is a very friendly guy. Haven't met him before but I was pleasantly suprised. We had some good conversation and a nice time.

I'd have to say, Tim is the most "Orange" guy I know!

Me 'n' Tim

Gina and Tim

Tim's tough guy look!

I fell to the back of the pack so thought I'd take some shots of their rears, I mean, from the rear!

I take it Chuck rides a 5.2 as well? Both my roommate and I were on 5.2's today

Nope, sorry, but after a while I stopped caring about other riders. I bonked pretty hardcore half-way up the return trip.

S'what I get for thinking I could pull off 42 miles at 17-19mph after not riding significantly for 2-3 months and having recently recovered from pneumonia.

My thanks to Mr. Beanz and his wife for hanging back with me and making sure I wasn't laying dead on the side of the SART.

...

For what it's worth I was wearing my BF jersey under my parka.

A Cliff bar and you were fine! Now if it had come down to "mouth to mouth", then dude, you were a goner!

Man those bike models looked fit for once . I seen some sumo wrestlers trying to act as a bike rider, not cool.
