Register for Breathless Agony

Reminder to all those that are interested that registration for the Breathless Agony century opened up today. You can register here:

http://www.cyclingpros.com/onyx.htm

This is the second stage in the KOM events. There is a pretty low rider limit for this event and has sold out quite early is the past.

Not signing up...maybe I'll volunteer.

I am planning to ride this route this year though...just not the official Breathless Agony ride.

No, Lee, sorry. That will be NEXT year's goal. I think aiming for Triple Crown is enough. I like to spread my goals (and a little love) around, you know?

I think 2009 is my year for the KOM Series. That'll be an excellent mid-life crisis adventure for me.

Hi,

Can't do BA as it's the day before the San Luis Rey Road Race. However, I am interested in doing the Mulholland Challenge on April 14th. Anyone else interested in that? Should I start a separate thread?

Hey Cleave,
This will be the second year that I've chosen San Luis Rey over BA. It's too bad because BA is such a good ride, and a lot of people will from Bike Forums will be there, but San Luis Rey is probably my favorite road course in SoCal. I wish they seperate these, or make BA a USCF race

Hi,

I like the course but my record is less than stellar. Finished in the top 15 as Cat 3 in the 80s. Finished way back as a Cat 3 in the 80s. Got dropped and almost crashed on the big descent while riding with the gruppetto 3 years ago. Haven't been back since but it is on my list for this year, my first as a 50+. My luck is that it will be a 45+ race and Thurlow will show up.

I don't know if a seperate thread is necessary, but I will be at Mulholland with you (only I'll be starting a little bit before you, and not because I'm slow)...

Cleave and OC Roadie (and any others)...rumor has it that someone is planning to organize the BA route as a BF ride...maybe in March, if you're interested.

March? Consider the likely weather at that altitude. Brrrrrr...

And why would anyone do the BA if they didn't even get the stinking t-shirt?

So she can say that she did the BA route in March when it was freaking freezing...because she's a bad ass like that. In fact, she's so bad ass that she doesn't even need the stinking jersey.

-1 You'd need to give me at least two stinking t-shirts to do it...and preferably fleece-lined.
