Taking on the fight of my life

I will be out of the cycling scene while I fight Cancer. I will, however, be here on the board reading about all your rides and look forward to seeing all the pics, especially all the MTB rides. So PLEASE keep 'em coming. I hope to be back out and riding around July.

Ryan... I just went through dealing with cancer myself. My prayers are with you. If you need someone to talk with - please feel free to PM me. There are alot of good surgeons and oncologist out there. Many hospitals have cancer support groups and don't be afraid to ask for help from family and friends. I learned my way around the "system" so if you need some advice, let me know.

Please take care.

Godspeed my friend.

My mom recently beat back her leukemia for a second time, and since I've been involved with Team in Training, I've heard and witnessed many success stories and miracles. You can beat this thing. I'm riding the Solvang ride with Team in Training, and I'm putting names on my ride jersey. If you'd like to PM me your name, I'd be honored to put your name on my jersey as well.

See you out there in July!

Am hoping for the best for you. My wife, a runner, had Stage 3 colon cancer 7 years ago and her oncologist told her that she was cured now. There are many people beating all forms of this terrible disease and I'm sure that you will too.

Keep your chin and your spirits up. I had a malignant melanoma removed off my arm at age 18. It took 5 years before I got over my fear of the Texas sun and started cycling. Best wishes, and here's to hoping you don't have such a long time out.

I too have had cancer and I am still here to scream at it. Stick to your guns and stay informed. I gave myself a goal that if I was still around after a year I would buy the Trek. Still here....check signature. Stay positive.
