I missed the Open House, but stopped by Banning's Bikes today. They let me in even though they weren't open (having a seminar by the Maverick rep). Got to talk with Banning and Paul (both of whom I knew from when they worked at Two Wheeler Dealer in Brea) and had a good look around the shop.
I'll definitely be back, even though they didn't have the Shimano spoke and nip I needed! Great shop though and yes, absolutely worth stopping by, even if only to look at all the wonderful bikes (Felt, Salsa, Colnago, Ducati, Maverick, Soma, etc.).
Best Regs,
Rick / OCRR

Banning is the start of my all time favorite downhill-with-a-tail-wind to near Palm Springs. 26 miles in one hour with absolutely not a single pedal stroke.
