Where did you ride today
I did my usual ride, from Back Bay to Irvine park.
They call it the Mountain to the Sea trail, although the "Mountain" is an ant hill
with an elevation of about, oh I guess 500'.
It was 37.6 miles, with some small hills thrown in.
I was shamed!! A Guy on a Huffy passed me, three times!
Well, that's not really accurate. Everytime I stopped at a red light,
this dumba** blew through it and yelled at all the cars ( as they were slamming on the brakes)
how he had the right of way and they need to go f*** themselves.
Now, if Darwins natural selection holds true, he probably won't be around much longer.
All in all, a good ride with some entertainment thrown in!
Now, where did you ride?

A flat ride from Palos Verdes to Santa Monica... ate a gigantic custard-filled pastry in Venice... rode to a Torrance hobby shop for some enamel paint to patch a chip in my bike's finish... then back home. 60 miles. Very nice weather, not a lot of runners/cyclists on the path, great day for a ride.

About 35 miles with BCI (Bike Club of Irvine). Pretty flat, but at a good pace. It was all in Irvine though.

Did a road ride in Rancho Cucamonga from Foothill up to Lytle Creek Ranger Station and back. After everybody else went home I threw in an extra 7-8 miles so I got in about 35 today. I think this is going to be my regular Saturday ride. Its being taken over by The Cycling Connection so I guess I'll be riding with them.

Slow ride north from San Diego, up the coast hwy. Three of us went from Mission Bay to Solana Beach, downed a latte, and rode back. Total, door-to-door, 43mi, 1660ft of climbing (if you trust RouteSlip).
It was a slow ride because I'm having tendonitis aches. Haven't had a day off the bike in three weeks. Tomorrow is a rest day.

I rode SART today. I was hoping to eke out 100 but I cut it short at 72. Oh well, next time! Passed Mr. Beanz and who I assume was his wife! Didn't stop but I managed to get out a 'hey' as we passed.

Was that you? I saw this sexy azz cycling chick and told myself I better get a picture of her! Kidding, tell hubby not to whip my azz!..I wanted to stop and say hi, but GIna on my wheel, didn't want to make any suddens!
Me at the beach. I was so tickled that it didn't rain!
Yes, that was Gina.
Ran into 'LewisAClark', a new BF member.
Then ran into Jack. Met him 10 years ago on the trail. Once watched him single handedly destroy a race team with his 24 mph average. Now he shows mercy and crusies along with us on his bent. Oh, his 24 mph was on an upright custom made 'Zunow'. This guy taught me that it doesn't matter what you wear, it all depends on if you can kick azz or not!

So that was Beanz and his cycling wife I passed twice today. Once near the beach, you guys were heading south and it didnt' occur to me that it might be you until the moment had passed, then somewhere around 12 miles from the beach as I was heading south I saw you again. I recognized you this time, but after 65 or so miles my brain just didn't engage soon enough to say anything.
I also saw Tiff south of Gypsum Canyon Rd. She was headed south and I was still going north to my turnaround. Once again by the time I noticed the BF Jersey it was too late.
My overall ride was Coyote Creek to SGRT to Seal Beach to Huntington, then SART to Gypsum Canyon back home the same way. 100.65 miles in 6:04 with no stops for my February Century. The headwinds back towards the beach and then along PCH were miserable though, especially since I didn't even have the joy of a tailwind on the way back. Funny how the wind always starts near my turnaround.

8 miles tooling around the quiet neighborhood streets this morning. My shoulder is finally ok enough that I can get back to riding with some regularity, but there's still some discomfort/fatigue if I ride more than 40ish minutes so I'm keeping my rides short until my shoulder lets me ride longer.

I took my Huffy out for a spin from the BB to Irvine Park...I kept blowing past some Guy because he kept stopping for Red lights...in fact I think I passed him 3 times...
Seriously though, I didn't ride today...I was really looking forward to the Palm Springs one but I suddenly got sick last Sunday mid-ride and as of today I'm still suffering
Glad you had a nice ride!!
