New Frame
Hi All,
Got a new Look 565 frame as a warranty replacement for my much-loved Look KG381i. Built it up yesterday:
It's nice enough but it doesn't fit me nearly as well as my old bike. I'll train on it for a few months and see how things go.

Gorgeous. So will this end up being an early 50th birthday present for yourself? Or are you still planning on buying yourself a nice bike?

No this is not the 50th birthday bike. The 2006 Record group is still is storage waiting for the killer frame that fits me well. That being the case, odds are that I will sell this bike which is why I didn't cut the steerer tube any more than necessary.

I have a personal problem when it comes to bikes -- I'm very particular about how they fit. I have all of my fit dimensions on a piece of paper and on my computer. I guess I should also put a copy in a safe deposit box.
Anyway, when checking out the dimensions of the new Looks I saw that they weren't ideal for me, which is why a Look 595 isn't on my dream bike short list.
I'll ride this one for a few more months and then make a final decision but I'm not optimistic.
