He's waiting for you to plan it, Jason. Personally, if he gets a ride planned out of this, I'll think it brilliant and perhaps use his method in the future.

Well, if you want to keep with tradition, there's always the TdSS Stage 2, which went from HB to Corona and back, via SART. Lunch at Los Primos. Last year, it was the week after the TdSS Stage 1.

Or, we could run TdSS stage 1 since it is the anniversary of that ride. Sure, it's the same ride as last Sunday, but I really like that ride.

I thought last week was the anniversary of that ride? Or was it the anniversary of Solana Beach?

Irvine--Solana Beach was July 22. TdSS stage 1 was July 30.

I've got a great idea. How about you lead this weekend's ride? It's been a while since I climbed Latigo.

Can't schedule a ride this weekend, my dear. Looks like I'm working both Sat and Sunday in Del Mar. I'll probably take my bike in case I can sneak in a few hours.

Hey all,

I’m writing this in Word because the site is down and I guess some have been wondering what is being planned for a ride. Sorry, work is getting in the way of spending time here!!!

I was thinking of a few rides and seeing what everyone thinks. The only thing that I want is to start close to home and now earlier that 8:00!!!

1. One ride is from Tortoise45 house (subject to his approval) in Laguna Hills up around Santiago Canyon, down Jamboree, South on PCH (alternate route inland around Laguna Beach advisable) and back up to his place
https://trail.motionbased.com/trail/activity/3211933

2. Ride the SART top to bottom for about 62 miles…Tracy (tprevost) is going to be around and would like to do this one! She will be in the area around 9:30 or so and will meet us on the trail or we can really have a Slacker ride and begin then.

3. Do the same ride that I missed this last Sunday.

4. Any suggestions will be entertained.

Love,

Ralph

Good night.

I dunno... riding with Tracy sounds cool. I think the last time I rode with her was at Joshua Tree. That's a LONG time ago. Options 1, 3, and 4 sound interesting, too. Not being very helpful, am I?

Oh, and I probably can't make Saturday this week, so my thoughts don't hold too much weight anyway since we don't even know if we're planning a Saturday ride or a Sunday ride!

Riding with Tracy should be the priority on Saturday if that is the day she is going to be around!

Ok, so the ride plan is....
there isn't one......

I'd like to join, however only have 'til noon or so.
Unfortunately that leaves out the 50-70 miles rides mentioned.
( mostly because I take up the rear and everyone waits )

Awwww..... thanks Phil and Jason (even though you can't ride anyway ) ... if my wheels are gonna be showing up in Irvine this week, I'll definately be there. Just remember, my pace is slower than yours so you'll have to do some regroups

... edit: Okay, looks like my wheels are definately gonna get there so I will be down... I have an idea for those planning on going to brewbakers at 1pm... since I have to start so late on the golf course side, anyone needing to be done earlier could start at the other end and meet me at the golf course and ride back instead (did that make sense?) ...

You could always crash the party here as guests. It's short but sounds fun. Three or four of us are crashing it as well.
