Good bike shops in and around Reseda, CA?

Hi,

i'm new to biking and I'm only visiting from the Philippines for a couple of weeks. Planning on buying a road bike and other bike stuff during my stay in CA. I'll be staying with my uncle who lives at Reseda. Please recommend good bike shops around this area. I'm willing to drive a little farther for a good bike shop if it's worth it.

I'll be buying mostly accessories for road/triathlon (helmet, shoes, comp/heart rate monitor, aerobars) and maybe a whole road bike if there's a good deal somewhere. TIA

Reseda Bicycles (no website) is pretty road bike friendly. They even have some NOS frames and stuff.

Cycle World www.cycleworldbikes.com is a nice shop with a decent selection of stuff

There is also a Bicycle Johns www.bicyclejohns.com on reseda, but it is a rather small version of their Burbank store. Very friendly and knowledgeable, though.

Those are my favorites in the area. Agoura Cycles www.agouracycles.com has been my top choice from the last 15 years, but that's about 20-30 minutes away (I used to live 2 miles away)

Not in Reseda but if you can you should go to Helen's in Santa Monica. Don't miss the upstairs where the Cervelo, Pinnarello, and Colagno's are.
