Maybe the chick opened the door, the dude hit it with the front wheel, did one perfect flip while staying clipped in, and landed upright and proceeded as if nothing happened?

door opened, clipped his shoulder or arm, and almost caught him square in the chest. Even he was amazed he didn't go down. Huge bobble, then the save. Another inch and it would have been much worse.
