Just came back from dinner with my parents at Pacifica Del Mar. Their fish (specialty) is ok; but their dessert is great. Bon Bon, I think since I didn't look at their dessert menu. Heavily (Belgium?) chocolate coated hard shell with ice cream (gelato?) filling plus some small almond liquor bread core. Yummy.

I was thinking amongst those lines initially when I searched for a SS/FG. At the end, I don't really ride enough to work that justifies getting a beater bike. Wouldn't a craigslist/used bike build-up from scratch be more fun and cheaper?
