Your Best ride times? Speed/Clock/Averages

Post your best speeds, times what have you! Read a similar post on the other forum so just got curious about this group.

Highest downhill speed was 56 mph on our tandem. Thank goodness the hill was only one mile.

Highest on single 46 mph.

Highest average 10 mile flat stretch (SART bridge to bridge) from dead stop is 22.6 mph.

Highest average 60 miler (Greenriver to HB) with 2 other riders is 19.6 average.

Best time on Ride Around the Bear Century (nearly 10k of climbing) was 7:38 official time.

Best solo century (SART Flat) was 5:45 time.

Highest speed on the flats (SART) was 32 mph at the end of a 42 mile ride.

Best GMR time ( 21 miles/gate to gate) was 2:06

Gina's best push was 29mph on the SART on the final sprint of a ride.

Gina's best average on 42 mile SART ride was 18.1 average.

I know there are plenty faster guys and gals, but always entertaining to know how we compare to others!

All of this is from looking at my data on Motionbased, which starts when I got my garmin at the end of March. I wrote stuff down on paper before that and I'm not going to go look for it

Number of centuries or rides over 100 miles in my motionbased logs: 18

Double centuries: 3

Fastest Double: Solving Spring, 9:53 moving time, 19.4 mph
(note, for total time, I did the fall double about 6 minutes faster, 11:42 total time)

Greatest single day elevation gain: Everest Challenge (day 2), 14,561 feet

Fastest ride/race: SLO downtown crit, 24.3 mph (9.2 miles)

Fastest solo ride/race: Monday night TT, 23.6 mph (9.9 miles [measured officially as 10])

Best finish: 2nd in TT, RR, and GC at Conquer the Canyons in the "beginner" category

Fastest century: Windmill, 4:49 moving time, 20.4 mph

Fastest descent: 52 mph

Best sprint finish: 27mph uphill at Sisquoc (for 16th place!)

Wow 4:49 is fast on a century! And 9:53 on a double? SHMOKIN"!.....I know I'll never do that!

Forgot to log my best number of centuries

23 centuries in 2005, total maybe 30.
