Hi,

Young Max, you have so much to learn.

They caught/killed some dudes. Whether or not they are the dudes who started the fires is doubtful based on the article. These dudes were potentially starting other fires.

Also, in the US, you are innocent until proven guilty. Don't downplay that perspective on justice because you never know when someone might say that you did it even if you didn't.

Now go study some more US history so that you don't repeat any past mistakes.

The guy arrested near Big Bear was seen by eyewitnesses setting a small fire. That said, eyewitness testimony is often flawed, and what Cleave said is right on.

Hi Max,

I don't hate.

Just want to make sure that a young mind doesn't go too far astray.

Regarding "Arizona Man" from the article that you linked:

"We don't know whether he was an arsonist," Patterson said. "What was related by the Cal State police was that they tried to contact him as a suspicious person in a brush area. Things being how they are, there was a suspicion that he could be an arsonist."

Of course we'll never know what he was doing because he is now dead.
