Your PostRide Relaxation Rituals?

Mine would be to come home, log in the miles, edit my pics then post them on the forums. Gina's would be to come home, dress up like a blockhead then march about the place!

This is actually Gina and not a photoshop!

Well, my preferred post-ride relaxation ritual is to give massages to merider1 and Happytime over a post-ride meal, but seeing as that happened only once, I'll settle for having a beer and a bunch of food. And a nap. I love post-ride naps.

I can't top Charlie Brown.

After a hard ride, I'll get that post-endorphins glow where you feel wiped out but really good at the same time. A shower and a feast. Nothing like it.

Sex, then beer... or is it the other way around?

I prefer to think of it as the final gut-busting climb.

Mine would be...Pick up dog crap, feed kids lunch, and finish a couple of things from the "honey do" list, and then try to squeeze in a shower and a nap, before the kids want to ride bikes

During the week its down a recovery drink and make dinner. On the weekend its down a recovery drink, make something to eat and do some yard work. Its been so nice lately that it feels good to be outside.

No beer is no longer my recovery drink, Im in training for racing. No beer on training days.

Wipe off chain, any other crap adhered to bike. Check bike for wear /damage. Restock saddle bag if needed. Record data from monitor/computer, zero out units. Hang bike in garage. Then stretch for 5-10 minutes. Quick snack, dried plums , tablespoon of peanut butter, big glass of water. Then shower. Then prepare lunch or dinner. After lunch ,nap. After dinner, hour or two of TV then bed. Repeat.

Report back to my wife.
Not a relaxation ritual but that's the first think I do, then I become Mr. Handyman.
