Anybody use this site? My wife found it on treehugger.com and immediately suggest I sign up to offer cyclists meals, showers, and laundry facilities, maybe even the backyard to sleep in some time. She thinks it will be a great way to meet people from all over the country and the world (she loves travel). Just wondering if any of you have any experience with this program, and wanted to share if nobody's ever heard of it before.

You people are perverts. (Which is just fine by me. )

I've never used the list, but often came across references to it when I was researching bike touring back in the day. It's a great idea.

How could I expect any other response from you, Mary? You should really consider signing up. You could get plenty of hot, single, cyclists in your hot shower.

You know, you got a point there. Actually, two points. I'd love to have a few good hot, single, cyclists in my hot shower. I might even get them to clear my pipes. My stupid landlord won't even go there.

Can you give me some pointers?...I need my disposal motor up and running too. I tinker and tinker with the little switch, but I can't get it turned on right to grind properly. I imagine I need a bigger tool and someone who knows how to use it.

Hey now, no one said nothing about not having no ego. What do you think this is?

Oh, and Brian, great thread and idea!

There's a similar thing online for people (like myself) who own a vintage VW Bus. You can network clear across the country in case you are traveling and have a mechanical problem, need a driveway or just want to meet other VW Bus owners/lovers...

Well, I met my wife while working at The Home Depot. We know all about little switches, bigger tools and how to use them, grinding techniques, etc. Come to think of it, just walk into a hardware store and tell the guy in Fasteners that you need a screw, then ask the guy in Plumbing if he has 2" nipples.

edit: Oh, you'll need to speak with the guys at Pep Boys to get your "motor running"

We really should have a sticky in this region that says any thread will be taken out of context and twisted into extreme perversion, and that posters post at their own risk.
