How far have you ridden in a single day?

Question of the Day (Sunday)
In honor of those who have joined the ranks of the metric/century riders this weekend, the Question of the Day is:

What is the farthest you have ridden in a single day?

(Does not have to be an organized ride)

Mine was a solo 121 miles on a weekday. Got boring as heck after mile 60 or so.

I'm pretty sure it's around 72 miles. Well over a century! ( metric that is )
And 25-30 miles on the Mtb, ( which we all know is worth 3-1 compared to road )

This looks really wimpy compared to all you long distance riders.

Some of us do touring. Not just a day race. My greatest distance is 143 miles in one day.

The panda head was getting a bit stuffy on yesterday's ride. It's hard to get a helmet on it, too.

Drew? You rode a triple century? Wow.

The most I've gone is 208 or thereabouts. That was a long day.

Haven't tried longer than a double. At Davis, I could have done more. I was still fresh enough to do probably another 20 or 40, but it was already 11 pm, so I wanted to get back to the motel.

But but but...what about us pathetic ones that have ridden *less* than 30mi? I think the longest I've ever ridden was 20mi, on slightly hilly terrain.

Hi,

I checked 100 miles + 10,000+ ft climbing. I've ridden and raced 200K many times but not in the last 15+ years. 100-110 miles is more than sufficient for me these days, thank you.

BTW, never had the desire to do 200 miles because cycling is supposed to be fun.

I believe it was 92 miles, but I didn't know we were going that far until we did. My teammate knew, but he didn't tell me.

So far 11 double centuries.....and 5 more doubles this year.
The longest was 213 miles due to a couple of wrong turns.
