I worked for a few hours this morning. Rode into work and just got back in the rain. Nice.
Now I'm ready for some grout work.
I'm not bored yet. That's all.

Another lame post!........Kidding! We managed to get a ride in before the rain started. 32 miles from Linclon to HB and back. Saw Tiff on the trail. She looked so cute with her lil ponytails hanging out the side of her helmet!

Yeah, my daughter had a softball game this morning, so by the time I got around to it, it started to rain.

Cute doesn't quite do her justice!

Saw your post in the other thread about it raining... I was out there on SART today and got pelted with just a few drops on the last couple miles of my ride (great ride, btw... short & sweet with a good effort!)

It "sprinkled" for just a little while... it's dry (but chilly) out there now! Now, Ralph, get your butt on the bike and get a few miles in! You'll be happy that you did.

I was wondering if I would see you guys out there... I didn't get started until noon so thought it might be a little late! Good to "see" you guys for that split second, just long enough to say "hey!"

Well, I did it!!! It only rained for a little while and then stopped, so I put on every thing I have and put in 15 very slow miles to the beach and back. As soon as I turned around it started to sprinkle big drops all the way home.

Tiff, you're right, I'm so glad I got out there to see just how out of shape I am. The other thing that I was worried about were my eyes, but I didn't have anything to be concerned about at all, my eyes, like my nose, stayed moist the whole time.

Since the GMR ride was cancelled we got in 61.4 miles of climbs including Newport Coast, PCH, Laguna Canyon, El Toro, Aliso Creek plus some on Moulton.

All good bike lane areas (pretty much) but I was climbing poorly (Maria was nice and waited for me) but since I was dressed warm it was okay.

I'm thinking my legs were still tired from Butterfield, but Andrew and David Wu, who also rode Butterfield, were doing just fine . . . so maybe I just suck!

No rain until after the end, but it was good to do some climbing (even though it hurt, and was slow!) but a lowly 15.8 average after almost 4 hours on the bike.

May sleep in tomorrow if its raining when we wake up.

Try checking some of the other Forums. Then move on to other cycling websites.

Then take Mary out for a Mint Julep...or a cupcake.

Too bad I don't live closer to the SART...

Oh, I'm happy about the money that I am getting back (1750.00 minimum from the feds, but might increase to over 3k) but I hate dealing with all the paperwork and the fun things like "do I put money from cash savings into my IRA to save on taxes this year?" and "if I own stock in a bankrupt company what do I put as the 'sell' date of the stock so that I can take the capitol loss?"

yeah, and none of my money is going to bikes either... I want to pay off the credit cards by the end of March...

I was wondering if that may have been some OCRR jerseys I saw rolling up PCH just south of Newport Coast around 10ish...

There were 6 of us heading south, destination Solana Beach.

I doubt I've done a push up in 30 years. I went for a ride instead.

I was only bored because I was all set to go for a ride and looked out only to see it was raining.
