JPConrad sighting yesterday?

While riding up Verdugo near the Descanso Gardens, I saw a rider going the other way and waved. He waved back, and shortly after that I realized he was wearing an SC Velo kit, riding a Cannondale, and seemed to be nursing or resting his shoulder. Was that you?

John, my shoulder is still jacked. I tried lifting weights yesterday and doing very light bench presses. Now it hurts again. Gawddemnit! Why won't it heal********** Yours has to still be jacked too.

It's quite simple: if your cupcake intake is too low, your body will not sustain the proper level of happy vibes to help heal injuries. Moral of the story, eat more cupcakes.

I like your thinking, Buck...but I'm not sure I want to get any fatter in the process of healing the shoulder.

Dayum.... cupcakes.

I don't even like cupcakes, but being on a calorie-restricted diet makes me crave them.

Sprinkles >> Yummy Cupcakes If you're willing to wait about 30 minutes in a line that stretches around the block, of course.

My TA for research class makes the awesome cupcakes. It's on par with, or quite possibly, better than yummy's chocolate cupcakes. She spoils us so much.

Too bad tomorrow's the last day with her. Noooooo, the baked goodies!!!!!!

Geez, how long have I been in the dark about this cupcake phenomenon? I think it's time to do a Sprinkles/Yummies comparo while involving a 50 mile bike ride.

Well, I do want to do a ride that ends at Yummy Cupcakes (or is after a ton of climbing). It's just figuring out when.

Dunno if she's single or not, but she's hawt. If I weren't her student, female, and taken I'd go for her. (Wait, what am I saying? Even if I'm female I'd go for her ). She only brought in cupcakes once, but it tasted like yummy's without the frosting on top. Just the right sponginess, sweetness, and texture, mmmmm...

I'd go on a ride that involves cupcakes!!! But I'll be lazy and walk my bike up the hills if it involves lots of climbing.

#1 - if it doesn't have frosting, it is not a cupcake, it's a muffin.
#2 - If I design a cupcake ride, we have to earn the cupcakes. Therefore, someone will just have to push you up the hills.

Aaah, so that's the distinction between cupcakes and muffins...didn't know that.

Haha, no joke. ME = cupcake aficionado

I'd probably indulge on a cupcake or two, or three after 30-50 miles of climbing.....probably be too dead tired to eat them though.
