Opinions about the 1Up Trainer?
I just bought one of these 1Up bicycle trainers. Received the package last night.. took about 5 min to read instructions/setup the whole thing... ride seems nice and quiet... resistance seems pretty decent.
Just wondering if anyone else bought one of these and what they thought about it.

I've ridden on Cycleops... it's big and bulky compared to this. When my wife complained about me using the unit inside the house... it took me less than 2 minutes to put everything away.

I have a 1up, great trainer, quiet, very road like feel, and as you said it is easily put away. The other plus is the company that makes it stands behind their product, if you ever have any problems, they take care of it right away.
Resistance is excellent, if there is not enough just move the metal balls to the other grooves and that will increase the tension.

Their trainer is a great product for many reasons, including those already mentioned. It complements rollers when training indoors due to time constraints, etc. If you have (an) extra wheelset(s), it may be worth your while to invest in Continental Hometrainer tyres and save your race rubber from excess wear.

I've been using one for about 5 years now. The great thing is that it is easy to adjust between my bike and my wife's (650c wheels). It has held up great. As mentioned I find it to give a good road feel.
