Dear 20mph wind with 25mph gusts...
...SUCK IT.
My Zipps were like sails.
Tie a string to HappyGoLuckyTime and she would have been a kite.

Just curious, how deep is your zipps?
I'm in the market for a new set of wheels but not sure which way to go {deep profile vs. super light }.
Thanks.

If little skinny me can handle 43 mm deep Spinergys last October under full blown Santa Ana conditions--well, the 50-70 MPH crosswind gusts in Santa Ysabel got to me, but for the rest of the ride, I gladly accepted some sensitivity to crosswinds for better aero into headwind gusts--you should have no trouble with Zipp 404s (admittedy deeper) in 20 MPH gusts. But if you do, feel free to trade with me. I readily admit that I don't fancy ever riding in 50-70 MPH wind gusts again (aero wheels or not), but I don't think 20 MPH gusts are really anything to be too concerned about.

you were just dumb.
besides, i think you overestimated that wind you were in...i've met you and you don't have enough ass to keep yourself from becoming airborne in 50 - 70mph winds. you and happytime can wear the same clothes.

Forecast said 25 mph today. Couple of the palms swaying in the wind on today's ride. Ahh, the things we do for fun!
Ya see, that's why I stick with cheap wheels. No sailing for this boy!
