    Thread title says "4/18."

Either way, I may join you tomorrow evening at Lot F. I've never been up Patrician Way.

Do you hammer up your hills pretty fast?

TJKnight, Thanks for that. I've been doing it all day. MODS: Can you change the title? I changed it in the post but it doesn't seem to change it on the post list.

I can't say I hammer up the hills. I think I climb Chevy at an average 7MPH. Not sure if that's hammering or not.

Cool, that's about my pace (and not what I consider "hammering.") See you tomorrow, MTBMaven.

Damn, that's one of my favorite areas to ride in. If I was still living in SoCal, I'd join you ... oh well.
I'm in it to finish it.

I will be riding over to the Bowl from my office in Old Pasadena. I'm riding a silver and black Lemond with a white jersey. I will wait by the street light near the bridge.

What happened? I waited til 6:05 pm, but didn't see anyone else waiting by any of the three bridges in Lot F.

TJKnight, I got there about 6:05PM and waited until 6:30PM at the street light. Sorry we weren't able to hook up tonight. I'm pretty sure I will be riding the loop again on Thursday night and again next Tuesday. Thursday will be an easier ride and Sunday the 29th is Solvang Double (my first).

OK, I'll try again next Tuesday. Is this approximately where the meet spot is?

BTW, I rode your loop (minus Patrician Way-- I couldn't find it!) last night, but rode up St. (San?) Augustine instead of St. Katherine-- nice route. Shortened in that way, it took me just under an hour.

Yeah that's the basic spot. There is really only one street light a the far south end of lot F. It's right by the south entrance to the lot. Right now there are some signs about a pedestrian safety meeting and a small camera about 3/4 of the way up the light post.

Nice. St. Augustine is a really steep climb. Hits 20% in the beginning. I need to add that to my loop to mix things up. How did you like the loop?

To get to Patrician Way from Ave 64, take left on Colorado from Ave 64. Right on Patrician Way from Colorado. Patrician Way is the first right and will immediately cross over the 134. I like to turn left on Kenworthy, which gets in even more climbing. Kenworthy will flow right back into Patrician Way. Pretty hard to get lost. Just go straight at the intersection. Patrician Way ends at Glen Oaks, go right as straight on Glen Oaks is a dead end (there's a sign stating such).

I liked it. I usually go the other way, coming from Wodbury, to Highland, then up St. Katherine's, down St. Augustine, to Fig, then down Lida, and drop down to the Bowl. So doing your loop was cool. I liked going up hills I usually go down. Hopefully we can meet next Tues. and you can show me Patrician Way, though with your directions, I could probably find it pretty easy now.
