I can't find it on there either. If it's there, it's well hidden.

It's amazing how all these organized rides want to take your money, but don't want to tell you how much. You have to go to register before you find out the cost, but they'll take a whole page telling you how great the ride is, even if it's the most boring ride in the world. Sheeeeeesh. End of rant.

I guess there may be boring rides out there, but Ride Around the Bear is NOT one of them. I've ridden it ten times now, and it's a great event, and worth every penny.

True about the T-Shirt though . . .

Well Rick, I didn't mean to imply that RAB was a boring ride, and there should certainly be rides directed at all levels of ability. I would agree that RAB is a challanging ride, so don't take it personal, but it would be nice if the ride organizers would be up front about their charges, regardless of the degree of challange involved.

Just registered. It's the same as the OP, $49 plus $6 assoc. membership. I guess I gotta get a lot more serious now.

Maybe. It's getting serious consideration. But I gotta go do some hill repeats now for a tude adjustment, cuz if you think my attitude's bad, you should see my climbing ability, it really sucks.

Beanz, is your club website up yet? Couldn't find it. Will you be selling your club t-shirts prior to ride or will Gina have them during ride?

As of half-past noon, 75 riders registered out of 400, so there's some time.

Can't believe this, but I am actually going to pay for a century. The best part was forming my own fan club:

Guess who I am riding with? Sure hope I don't fall apart when the air thins out.

You'll be fine at altitude Ron,

And good job with the fan club! Will this be on the recumbent or the Rivendell?

Rick / OCRR

PS: Beanz, you are one lucky guy to have Ron Smith Jr. in your fan club!

I am bringing my climbing bike. You know, the one with the 24x28 low gear. To answer your question, the recumbent. Somebody has to be out there representing.
