Cool Breeze 2008

Registration opens tomorrow. There's a brevet option.

Who's in for any variation? And Olive Garden?

In for cool breeze, not in for Olive Garden. Brevet makes it sound so exciting. Wonder if they do that so they don't have to provide support on the first part

Is there still the DM option as well? Are they not the same distance? Same route. just a 6am start for the brevet?

Not in for this year....rats! We go to Family Camp each year. This time, our week there ends on the Saturday of Cool Breeze. So, we'll be up in the foothills of King's Canyon that day. Have fun, everyone!

In for the double metric. Wimped out last year because of the fire (which turned out not to be an issue) and just did the century.

I think I'm in too. Dropped out last year because my wife was hurt and I didn't want to leave for a full weekend.

Is Olive Garden before or after?

Probably going to be out of town that week. Maybe even Wisconsin. I think I have family there. Last I heard I had nieces and nephews to meet.

After. Though if you were planning on staying the night before, both?

I like the Brevet rules. You're only allowed to draft other people on the brevet, who will be wearing a ribbon on their helmet.
