we could make a new thread that is a poll, and just vote for jersey numbers, and use the same numbers, so nobody needs to go through and count votes.
fashionista says that she has more ideas, for more jerseys, and that the russian style font can of course be changed. She admits it isn't mainstream, and a little edgy.
She finished her last midterm and is going to work on more this afternoon.
(She does have a degree from the Fashion Institue of Design and Merchandising)
She's open to suggestions.

Sorry....grad student here who barely has the time to ride his bike, let alone visit his GF. Besides, I wouldn't even know where to look for a place to get these jerseys made.

At the end, it doesn't matter, lets pool positive efforts into safeguarding the intention of the thread.
I agree that each designer could post their designs for a re-vote (no to sound like Floridians)
Shall we?

Are you officially taking over the reigns?
I'm just asking because until someone steps up to do all the work ME was doing, is there really a point to voting? As one of the designers, I'd hate to waste further efforts of converting files, uploading, etc. unless someone is *seriously* willing to see this through.
ETA: not trying to be harsh, just practical

Er, we have all the pics of the designs up, we don't need them re-posted.
Let's figure out who's going to take care of ordering the jersey.

After that, I'll be unable to continue as I really don't know anything about contacting jersey vendors or getting good deals on shirt production. I love the idea of practicallity, but I don't really have the leadership or follow-through skills to make something like this happen. I'm just a happy consumer who really wants a vintage jersey.

You can find vintage jerseys on eBay, or other websites such as prendas.co.uk.
This contest did have two entries with classically-styled jerseys, however. They may "look" vintage, but they certainly aren't vintage. They'd be new. 2008 new.

I think we need to regroup after a few days.
Some of the jerseys need to be remade, from a practical standpoint.
I know a bit about the process, as I helped design my club's jersey.
Printers do not generally guarantee that panels will match exactly on all sizes. That is, for example, the border on the 'retro' jersey runs onto the side panel, and that is not generally possible. A side panel cannot usually be a continuation of the front design. The lines may match up differently on a small versus a large. I don't think Champion is any different from other companies that do not allow this, but they would need to be contacted to find out.
Also, J8 needs to be consistent front to back. The side panels, collar and sleeves change color abruptly from one side to the other. If you designed the individual panels, you would see you have a sharp line on top of the sleeves, on the sides of the collars, and in the middle of the side panels.
Please do not consider this as a negative attack. It's just that these designs cannot go on a jersey as they are now.
This is not a minor change that the company can fix. These require design changes that will affect the look of the jerseys.
