Mahi Mahi burgers in Newport Beach

Hi.
There is this small whole in the wall burger place on PCH right before you leave Newport beach (heading north), that has Mahi Mahi burgers. Anyone tried them, any good?

I was thinking of riding there for lunch (perks of grad school ), and was wondering if it's any good.

Thanks.

I like Mahi-mahi.

My fave taco stand just added shrimp burritos to the menu.

Newport Burgers? It's a good and, very greasy burger. Popular hangout for roadies on PCH.

Let us know how the burgers are.

When I went to Hawaii, there was a place there called the Rainbow Drive-inn in Honolulu, they had great Mahi-Mahi burgers for $2.40 Wish we that here.

Alicestrong, thanks for the chowhound link, lots of good info there. I went to Iguana Ranas a couple of weeks ago, great food! That place is huge!

The little yellow place, right?

Yep, they're good. Get there early. The place closes in the early afternoon. It's basically a surfer hangout and by 2pm they're back in bed.

Look for their old, yellow Wileys wagon parked out front or close by...easy to see as you approach the corner. Picnic tables out front.

My oldest kiddo and I enjoyed a great ride yesterday... (first road ride with him... it was fantastic, I was proud, and he's a strong rider! )

and just had to stop and try the Ahi Burger!!!

We shared. We mowed it down in about 10 seconds. I'll be back there to have my very own.
