Are you missing a pair of cycling shoes.

You tell me the type, color, size and location you lost them and they are yours.

No kidding found a nice pair of shoes in San Diego this weekend...don't feel right keeping them.

If I knew where I lost them, I'd go back and get them.

It's nice to see there are still upstanding people these days. When I had inadvertently left a front wheel behind after putting the rest of the bike on a roof rack, someone found it and left a note on another vehicle with a bike rack... which happened to be the club president who was taking the longer route. I had my wheel back within a few hours and the good Samaritan wouldn't accept any monetary reward.

Who would keep and wear someone else's shoes?

I have purchased used shoes before. I just sprayed them and changes the insole. I imagine if someone like me is willing to pay for used shoes, there must be someone out there willing to use them for free.

UrabnKnight, my wheels were stolen in 2005. I recovered them and did not beat up the guy, does that count as a good samaritan act?

People almost cease being human beings when they become bike thieves, so I'm not sure what the rules are.

I do know that it only matters, in the end, that you could have beat the guy up, not whether you actually did.

Glad you got your wheels back!

;)

The shoes are going back to their rightful owner...

Not really. Any person who willingly and intentionally lessens the quality of life for another human being without just cause is deserved of a thousand plagues in my book. I comment you for not resorting to his level, but sincerely hope karma bites him in the @$$ 10 times as hard in the future!!!

Robert Shaw sounds familiar to me, but I don't know why. Have I seen his name in race results or something?
