OC Riders: What's your gearing/tempo for Newport Coast/Vista Ridge?

Been doing NPC/Vista Ridge the past couple weeks in my 39x23. Speed on NPC is about 10-11.5 MPH (seated), dropping to 7.5MPH (seated) on Vista Ridge. I've been keeping my HR about 155 - 165 on NPC, and it gets up to about 175 on Vista Ridge.

I'm thinking should probably up the cadence with a 12-25 cluster... I don't like mashing on Vista Ridge.

NPC 39x19 when I'm going good
Vista Ridge & Ridge Park- I can grind it out in the 23, but I prefer the 25, especially on Ridge Park.

39/25 for me with an current average of about 10MPH... topped out a couple years ago with an average of about 12.5 on NPC with a total time of 8:04 from the bottom to the green electrical boxes at the apex of the hill.

I have not done CR & RP in a while, but I would assume I'd still be going SLOW... because even with the 39/25 I am not really 'spinning' up either hill.

Last time up NC was 39x21ish, 10-11mph seated for most, around 9 towards the top.

I wish mine was 55-11... but it's closer to 34-20 at 6-9 mph, 170-18x bpm for NPC; 34-27 at 4-5mph, 180-200(max) bpm for Vista Ridge. :p
