I'd never join any club that would have me as a member.

But I hear Chuckles really has a soft spot in his heart for Swamis. How about them?

Swamis are a bunch of ***'s. You don't even get race reimbursements. All you get is that silly Smurf suit.

Quit beating around the bush and tell us how you really feel.

Mark, why don't you ride with the club(s) that meet up closest to your house and see how you like them.

I wish. I'm going to work a 5-day week for the first time in 3 years.

I might bail out at lunch though. The stress is killing me.

You shouldn't. I'm just kidding. It is far though. I think Sean (our only rider from the SD area) wears a different kit at the track because he doesn't have any teammates down there.

Because I want to make a silly post on the Innernet.

I've ridden with SDBC and Cyclo-Vets. They are 12 and 15 miles away. Those are the closest clubs I know of. There is Mira Mesa Cycling Club, but I actually never see them out and about. Are there any clubs in Poway with a presence?

Let me know if you guys are getting together Friday afternoon for a ride. I might be able to bail early myself and join in...

I've seen the Mira Mesa Club ride through Torrey on their way back to MM from time to time. I personally would not join their club as their uni colors is mainly halloween orange - which does not even go with my bike - can't have that. If you guys are riding Friday afternoon, let me know as well as I've got this Friday off and will be golfing in the morning. If not, I'll be heading down to Veloculture to look for a cheap bike.

Honestly i am probably going with Dewalt. I know about 6 of thier riders well and the Co-Captain used to be my Commanding Officer, so we get along well.

I would but you guys are soooo far away...i am not commuting 50 miles to get a group ride in with my teamates bro. You are my second choice that's for sure. We'll see how things work out for Dewalt, they might not even want me given my stellar race season i had.
