Is the Orange Line bike path in the valley safe to ride alone at night? (between the north hollywood redline station and encino)

I don't know about anything east of Balboa, but last year everything from White Oak to Topanga was not lit.

I can't speak to the Orange Line Bikepath, but my regular commute is from the North Hollywood Red LIne station to Hazeltine Blvd. via Chandler and I've never had a problem. My biggest problem is making the lights, but I'm slower than an arthritic turtle. Make sure to have a decent headlight though, because it is pretty dark.
