Hate Being Sick!

Schedule allowing, I ride anywhere from 2 to 4 days a week. It clears my mind, makes me feel good, and frankly, I enjoy being part of the bike community found on the boards. I have been a lurker for many, many months.

To the topic, I have been sick with a cough/cold thing going on three weeks. Since the symptoms were off and on, I tried to ride through it, but since have given up until I get better.

Anyone else having to give up rides due to this damn thing? If so, I hope you feel better and get back to riding soon. I know I am looking forward to getting out there again.

Thanks for your patience on this trivial thread.

Best Regards,

Mike

I have an acquaintance that lives out in the Kansas City area and has just been able to get back on her bike after a month.

Hey Mike,
I know what you mean. I had a lingering sinus thing going on about a month ago. I tried to ride through it, but I'd arrive at work with a throbbing headache and runny nose. Finally went to the doc for some antibiotics and it was cleared up in three days.
Anyway, get some rest, maybe a little medical attention, and you'll be back on the bike before you know it,
