Race recommendations
So I've searched and no luck.
I'm hoping to start racing this summer. I'm in the South Bay, and my question is what would be a good race/crit to start with? I've done my fair share of faster group rides in the area and am comfortable in large groups, still get dropped though.
I understand categories, but would prefer to do something Cat 5 only as my first race. In other words, no Cat 4/5 or Cat 3/4/5 groupings. A race/course that isn't too brutal, maybe? Any recommendations?
Thanks.

Hi,
Yep, a Cat 5 race at Dominguez Hills is probably the best way to get started. Not sure if anyone other than CBR is putting on races there this year. CBR does a Cat 5/Public race. Otherwise it's a Cat 4/5 race on their schedule.
