Heard Some Talk 'Bout a GMR Ride on June 6th

Is it gonna happen? I hearded some guys talking about scaling the mtn. I thought they was s'posed to post it here. I been waiting but no dice, not yet! It will be a good final training ride before the Bear.

So you guys doing it or just teasing me?

I hearded it was from Boulder Springs at about 7 or 8 am.

NO, GINA WILL NOT RIDE!!! So there is a chance that somebody else may be the last one up!

No Beanz,

June 6th is the Eastern Sierra Double Century, that's where you should be. It would be a great (and very scenic) first double for you! Hope to see you in Bishop!

The GMR ride (well, one of them) is organized by my wife, Jackie, and it's this Sunday from Boulder Springs with the slower riders starting at 7:00 AM and the faster riders at 8:00 AM. Of course, if you are faster than slow, but still slower than fast, 7:30 would be a good start time!

To the Village and back. Some will take the flat way back (w/Kriss Okubo), others (like me) will come back the reverse of the trip out, i.e. GRR/GMR to Boulder Springs.

I'm trying to get my uncle to do a ride up Angeles Crest starting at 6 to meet Vertical Bob at 8 at Red Box. Turning around at Grassy Hollow for a nice climbing century (and my first unsupported century).

I might be riding the trail from the A to the wedge with a friend and his buddy. Starting at the A around 9, if it all works out. Not sure on their pace. This will be my first time riding with these guys and second time on the bike for me in months .

I know I won't be pushing hard...
