Gina still on the Disabled List!

I think she's faking it!.... Like the others said, could have been worse! But darn that looks like it hurts! Still stiff in the neck and shoulders too. Looks like we'll be on the tandem for a while!

Pay no mind to the sexy Snoopy lingerie!

Man, those are nasty bruises! Hope she's feeling better.
If them bruises were elsewhere you'd be arrested.

Yeah, I know. She hit my wheel and went down about 8 years ago. She had more bruising in the shoulder and arm areas.I got lotsa dirty looks while walking the malls.

But then again, she rides full carbon while I ride aluminum. So any judge that hears the case would surely set me free!

8 years is a long time for bruises not to heal....hmmmm

Are you saying her CF bike exploded/fell apart when she "touched wheels with your Aluminum bike"?

lol...j/k

Ouch, that looks pretty bad. Maybe you should ditch the pics of you in the wifebeater until poor Gina heals up?

I know most of us breathe a sigh of relief that "it's only a bruise"...

but believe it or not, there can be complications with bruising.

A bad bruise can result in a calcified lump or even an under-the-skin blood clot.

Either may require professional intervention.

I hope that Gina's disappear without further ado.

I still think it was all your fault Mr. Beanz. Miss Gina is way to sweet to do that to herself.

Good grief Beanz! You made it sound like she just had some light bruises, when we talked at the coast stop yesterday. Those bruises pictured are not "light".

Well, send my "get heal quick" wishes to Gina and tell her I am thinking of her.

Light? If I used the word light, it was describing the light roadrash on her elbow or the light wheels on your bike ready to be tested on GMR!

Hey Octico Dude!...It was about one strip north of the soccer fields. We were 56 miles into the ride, trying for 60. We slowed to a cruise pace for another mile or so. Heading south she ran into my back wheel. I think maybe it was that I wasn't pushing very hard and she flew up on me in the draft. I think she got a little too relaxed. She hit my wheel then shot left into the dirt and bushes. If you see a bush with a big clearing in it, that's hers!

We were doing about 15 mph at the time. When she went down, the hb's turned, she landed on the end of the bars midthigh! OUCH!..The other thigh must have hit the toptube.
