Cyclocross?

Does anyone ride cross in or around the Pasadena area? I'm looking at buying my first CX frame and I'm wondering if there were any good spots to ride locally. I'm hoping to get do a race or two this season. Thanks.

ziptie,
talk to dorothy wong. she is involved with running the socal cross series. socalcross.com I think they have a slew of loaner cx bikes you can use for a race, i hear.

there is also local practice sessions down in the park at JPL below the parking lot (where you enter brown mt) you can ask dorothy about that too. I think they have practice at Griffith Park too.
