Not really, since Great Park now has races every Thursday...alot of us have transitioned to it. I think we will come back there when the race season is over.
Although there are some cyclist still train there at Tuesdays at 530pm.

It seems a lot of the riders in OC who had been doing the impromptu speed circuits in/around Irvine, Mission Viejo, or other rare areas with limited traffic after 5:30pm and limited/no stop signs have transitioned their workouts to the Great Park Crits on Thursdays...I haven't seen hardly any of the regulars at the usual places on Tuesdays are there anymore...I sometimes see a few putting in some base miles, but no intervals or pacelines that I can try to hang onto.
Time to go back to the Rock n Road Shop Ride out of MV...if they change that to Tuesdays from the current website announcing it on Thursdays.

Also, I'm wondering...why would think a Thursday night crit take away from Tuesday night rides?

I dunno...maybe there's only space once a week for intervals/speed training. Tuesdays used to be a great day in the week for it, but twice a week might be too much so Tuesdays become base days.
All I know is every other casual rider I've run into has noticed the same thing...all the speedy riders that are team oriented (or were not interested in bumping elbows at Eldo) have apparently disappeared from public roads on Tuesdays.

There has been a crit training for the past two Tuesdays I visited at Skypark. This is mostly driven by Edge cycling team. I know for sure that interval workouts that was on Thursday will return when season is over.
