Sgrt

as i drive over the sgrt on the 91 fwy it looks like new pavement. i know the upper end at the santa fe dam rec area has been repaved but does anyone know if the whole path is repaved. last time i rode the lower end it was so rough i swore i'd never go back.

Haven't ridden SGRT for a few weeks now, but I did see what looked like some sort of repaving vehicle parked along the lower section recently. I'm hoping the lower section gets repaved - it really needs it.

Rode it on the 12th in route to Solana Beach, and yes, most of it has been repaved. If I recall correctly, at that time it was repaved down to either Eldorado or Liberty Park, which ever is further south. More may have been completed in the interim.

They have not done the worse part of the trail. The city of Seal Beach was/is going to do it but only some patches have been done. There is new pavement on most of it but not all. I rode it a few days ago. South of the 405 to Seal Beach has not been done.

Seal Beach really needs to get on the ball. Their one small stretch is basically horrendous. I often skip it and ride the congested surface streets nearby. Here's hoping that they actually repave that section.

It is repaved from Peck Road to the Santa Fe Dam area. South of Peck to Florence ave is untouched. From Florence headed south it is repaved. Don't know why they did not repave the Pico Rivera, West Whittier, Santa Fe Springs, North Downey area. Hopefully, it is in the works...
