33 from Ojai is one of the most scenic climbs in southern California. While never steep, the scenery never fails to amaze. I got to ride this again a few weeks ago and was struck by the beauty of the ride.

Thanks for the posting. I did the out and back from Ojai to Lockwood Valley road a month or so ago for my C2K training. The ride is beautiful, but it's kind of scary with the lack of water stops and hot temps. I'm planning a 150 miler starting in Ojai to Lockwood Valley road, then doing a big circle going counterclockwise (hitting Mt. Pinos), Hwy 95 to 166 then down 33 to Ojai. Should be insane but probably need to do this in October.
