Best saddle selection in OC/LA area?
I'd like to find the right saddle for me, and I hear about how great some of these $100+ italian saddles are, but I've yet to see one in any shop. I hate to order something like this online, it's really something a person needs to ride for a week or so.
So, I'm looking for a shop that has a good selection of saddles, and a nice return policy so I can try until I find the right one. I could see myself riding 4 or 5 different saddles over the course of a month to find the right one. Any suggestions? Is this an impossible request? JAX had bontrager stuff, plus some off brand stuff. My local LBS only had a few specialized saddles.
Where's the fizik/selleitalia/etc type stuff?

Half Fast
Performance has a 30 day return policy and many choices. I bought a Forte T1 Tri Saddle a couple of weeks ago. It's light and inexpensive, and I like it. https://www.performancebike.com/bikes..._1032416_-1___

competitivecyclist.com has a great saddle demo program.
if you want local, rock n road has specialized and fizik test saddles.

For a local shop, Two Wheels One Planet in Costa Mesa carries fizik. I don't know about their test/return policy.

Thanks for the search help rallison and others, I'll check out performance and CC next. The CC "saddle demo program" webpage was gone last I checked, but I'm sure their regular return policy should cover me.

Bicycle johns on burbank gets a big F as well. Why even unlock the doors each morning if you don't want to help the people that come in. Stood around for at least 10 min. No help. Went to the register to check out. Nobody showed. Loudly said HELLO and still the guys in the back didn't come out. Hard to compete with online if you don't even try.
Zippy, thanks, I'd not even heard of that place and it's minutes from my house. I'll check it out.

Bummer. They ought to take the item off their website in that case. I wonder why they stopped it.
