Well I'm 0 for 3....

So I'm completing my ride on Santiago last month and two hours later the horrific motorcycle accident that killed two and injured two happens.

Then last week I'm riding PCH and an hour after I pass two cars collide and kill somebody on the bike path on the beach side.

Then yesterday my Garmin Edge 500 shows that I was at PCH and Riverside drive about two hours before a 10 car crash that killed three and injured many more.

I'm starting to think that I'm either really BAD luck or really GOOD luck.

Hah hah! I agree! It's just been really weird. I recall having to stop at the Riverside light and was looking at that bakery, Cest Ci Boui or whatever it's called and when I got home my wife told me about the accident. She said Riverside and PCH and I asked her where that was and she said, "You know, by the bakery" so I checked my Garmin Connect and sure enough I was right there.

I'm sure it's all just dumb coincidence. Tomorrow I'm hitting the Back Bay - Irvine Blvd to Harvard to bike path to PCH and back. It's an hour and a half ride and since 90% is bike path I don't anticipate any problems.

Please stay in Orange County, and away from GMR for sure. Just kidding. But it does have to make one wonder.
